These Terms of Use govern your access to Temporitz. Please read them before using the service.
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the Temporitz website, applications, content, and related services (together, the "Service") operated by ShadeTree.IT LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 16 if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, unless the law where you live sets a lower age and a parent or legal guardian has consented on your behalf. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms for you.
What Temporitz is
Temporitz is a weekly planning tool, offered free of charge. It helps you divide a week into blocks, assign those blocks to categories you define, and see how the result lines up with the priorities you set. It is a personal productivity tool and nothing more: it contains no artificial-intelligence features, and it does not provide medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice of any kind. Using it creates no professional relationship between us.
Accounts and sign-in
Most of the Service works without an account. Signing in — through Google or through a passwordless email link — is optional, and its only purpose is to sync your blueprints across your devices. We never receive or store a password. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure and for activity that happens under your account. We may suspend access if we reasonably believe an account is being used unlawfully or abusively.
Your content
You own the blueprints, category names, descriptions, and schedules you create. If you sign in, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and transmit that content solely so we can sync it to your own devices, and that licence ends when you delete the content or close your account. We do not sell it, publish it, use it to train artificial-intelligence models, or share it with anyone else.
Our intellectual property
Temporitz itself — the software, the interface, the text on this site, the name, and the logo — belongs to ShadeTree.IT LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark law. These terms grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service as it is offered, and nothing more. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from it, or reverse-engineer it except to the extent applicable law says you may.
Data stored in your browser
By default, everything you create in Temporitz is stored in your own browser and never leaves your device. That storage is under your control, not ours, and it is not a backup. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing, or switching devices will remove blueprints that were never synced to an account, and we cannot recover them for you.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, interfere with or disrupt it or its infrastructure, upload malicious code, or remove or obscure any copyright, licence, or attribution notice.
Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties, including Google Firebase for authentication and sync, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for usage measurement, and Google Fonts for typography. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, policies, or security. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. Our Privacy Policy describes what each of them receives.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShadeTree.IT LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of zero U.S. dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer-protection law that applies to you regardless of what these terms say.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time; deleting your blueprints and asking us to close any account you hold ends the relationship on your side. We may suspend or end your access, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or if we reasonably believe your use is unlawful or puts the Service or other people at risk. We may also discontinue the Service, in which case we will give reasonable notice so you can export or record anything you want to keep. The sections on your content, our intellectual property, the disclaimer, the limitation of liability, and governing law survive the end of your access.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions, and any legal action arising out of them will be brought in the courts of the State of Illinois. If you use the Service as a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts. If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the date shown above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
